Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Mystery XI app. The app is offered by Foreningskompasset, CVR 46741242, Æbeløgade 5, 3, 3, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark ("we"). Contact: foreningskompasset@gmail.com.
By using the app, you accept these terms. If you download it from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.
1. The app
Mystery XI is a free football quiz with daily puzzles, practice games and a friends league. You must be at least 13 to use it.
2. Your account
- You can play as a guest. A guest account that hasn't been used for 60 days is deleted, with its friends and results. Linking Apple or Google sign-in keeps it.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
- Your name must not be offensive, pretend to be someone else, or pretend to be Mystery XI. We may change or remove names that break this, and block names automatically.
3. Fair play
Don't cheat, use bots or scripts, try to get around the ads, or try to access other players' data or our servers. We may delete results or accounts that do.
4. Ads
The free app shows ads. Tips can be unlocked by watching an ad. See the Privacy Policy for how ads use data.
5. Mystery XI Plus
- Mystery XI Plus is a subscription that removes the ads before games. The price and period are shown before you buy.
- It is bought and paid through the App Store or Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
- If we change the price, Apple or Google tell you first, as their rules require.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- Use Restore purchases in Settings to get Plus back on a new phone.
6. Football content
Puzzles are based on public football facts (players, line-ups, transfers). We try to keep them correct, but mistakes can happen, and transfer fees are estimates, rounded and shown in euros. Mystery XI is not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, club or player. Names of clubs, leagues and players belong to their owners.
7. Our rights
The app, its design, texts and code belong to us. You may use the app for your own, non-commercial use.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the app running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or end features. To the extent Danish law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost streaks or results. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; important changes are shown in the app. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
10. Law and complaints
Danish law applies, without limiting the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live. Contact us first at foreningskompasset@gmail.com. Consumers in Denmark can also complain to Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk).
